Carry out first line diagnosis and maintenance activities in conjunction with current procedures in order to preserve the highest levels of safety, environmental compliance, plant integrity and availability.
Detailed incident reporting and collation of data as soon as possible after any accident/incident.
Perform the role of a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) in line with px Limited Safety Rules.
Day to day operational responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the Fuel Feed, Furnace, Boiler, Steam Turbine, Flue Gas Treatment, Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS), Ash Collection Systems and balance of plant including Water Treatment Plant.
Ensure that the plant is always operated within prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental constraints and guidelines.

Contribution towards eye test and glasses

Understanding of Safe Systems of Work.
Proficient IT skills including word & excel for reporting duties.
NVQ L3 or time served apprenticeship in relevant discipline, or equivalent
Experience of operating plant via a DCS/SCADA interface.
Knowledge of pressure systems, LV and HV electricity preferable.
Practical experience in an operations or maintenance role in a power generation, EfW, marine propulsion, petrochemical or process systems setting.
