The position works closely with Regal Rexnord Motion Control Solutions and Commercial and Industrial Motors Regional Sales Directors, district managers, and manufacturer representatives to meet established objectives. It is accountable for total sales, programs, and activities for the assigned major distributor account.
Key duties include developing and implementing sales plans, leading cross‑regional teams to expand distributor relationships, gathering detailed account information, and prioritizing strategic opportunities. The manager uses CRM daily to track activities, analyze dashboards, and communicate progress, while promoting cost‑saving processes and ensuring professional sales coordination. Monitoring industry trends, maintaining compliance, and controlling expenses to stay within budget are also essential.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical, business, or marketing field and have at least five years of sales experience, preferably in the power transmission and bearings industry. Mechanical aptitude, proficiency with MS Office, CRM, and business software, and residence in or near Kansas City are required. Compensation ranges from $125,000 to $140,000 base salary plus variable compensation.
