The role supports crew‑member requisitions, consistently meeting daily, weekly, and monthly hiring performance metrics across Flagger Force markets. Responsibilities include maintaining ATS records, communicating with candidates, conducting screening calls, handling inbound support calls, and coordinating pre‑hire onboarding and new‑hire orientation logistics. The coordinator also collaborates with leadership on recruiting strategies, policy updates, and special projects.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
- Respond to candidate inquiries via text, voicemail, and email within established timelines.
- Review applications and conduct screening calls for crew‑member candidates.
- Handle inbound calls in the Recruiting Support Contact Center according to service‑level targets.
- Resolve candidate issues such as scheduling requests, application updates, and rehire status.
- Support rehire requests, mentor program tasks, and flagging reviews with required approvals.
- Launch pre‑hire onboarding paperwork and verify completion before New Hire Orientation.
- Schedule reminder messages for candidates confirmed for upcoming New Hire Orientation.
- Provide orientation projections, attendance updates, and hire numbers to recruitment and field leadership.
- Participate in leadership meetings to assess recruiting resources, strategies, and process improvements.
- Research and schedule remote New Hire Orientation locations at employment centers and local hotels.
- Collaborate with team members to promote performance and culture.
- Stay current on departmental and company policy and procedural changes.

Candidates must demonstrate strong customer‑service skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and solid computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office tools. The position requires at least one year of office or call‑center experience, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to obtain steel‑toed boots and complete Crew Member Training. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s degree, high‑volume recruiting experience, and familiarity with iCIMS or similar ATS platforms. A high school diploma is required.
- Strong customer‑service, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and general computer literacy.
- Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Minimum 1 + year of office or call‑center customer service experience.
- Ability to obtain steel‑toed boots and complete Crew Member Training.
- Preferred: Associate’s degree.
- Preferred: Experience in high‑volume recruiting or agency environments.
- Preferred: Experience with iCIMS or similar ATS and high‑volume call‑center systems (e.g., Dialpad).
- High School Diploma required.
