Serve as the go-to expert for analytical tools and techniques across the Credit Risk and wider debt teams.
Lead and contribute to regular Credit Risk meetings, presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including director-level audiences
Detect early warning indicators of potential risks and opportunities, enabling proactive intervention through advanced data analysis.
Evaluate current collections strategies to uncover weaknesses and provide actionable insights that drive performance improvements.
Analyse customer behavioural data to identify emerging trends and patterns.
Develop and deliver insightful reports that explain historical debt performance and inform strategic decisions.

Relevant analytical and/or data modelling experience gained within a credit risk environment or similar
Degree in a statistics or similar numerate discipline or equivalent experience desirable
Self-motivated and proactive, capable of delivering high-quality analysis with minimal supervision.
Experience in the Energy sector is advantageous but not essential.
Strong knowledge of Credit Reference Agencies and the ability to leverage their data for impactful analysis.
Advanced proficiency in analytical platforms such as Databricks, Python, SQL, and Power BI, with expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
Prior experience in team leadership is desirable but not essential.
Proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
Highly numerate
Strong experience in Credit Risk, ideally within a regulated industry.
Demonstrates leadership qualities and sound judgment in selecting analytical approaches.
