Electrical Project Engineer

Overview

Design and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.

Tasks

-Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFIs, and change orders. -Schedule project phases and tasks. -Establish and maintain phase and task level budgets. -Schedule production staff and lead them through tasks. -Coordinate with sub-consultants. -Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project. -Organize and maintain project files. -Maintain documentation for billable hours. -Conduct site visit investigations and generate reports and recommendations based on findings. -Produce design plans, calculations, and reports with limited direction. -Provide client interaction support.

What You Bring

-AutoCAD and MS Office required -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required -Demonstrate an understanding of constructability and complex design. -P.E. required -Revit a plus -5+ years of experience with electrical design, preferably with commercial projects such as fueling/convenience, solar/PV, retail, or restaurants -Demonstrate an understanding of liability issues related to design.
