You will tackle challenging assignments that involve investigating, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions to modernize and expand the electric grid. Responsibilities include directing engineering and design coordination from concept through detailed execution, supporting account management and client engagement, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications. You will also coordinate facility studies for various RTOs, prepare clear technical reports, and perform independent reviews of calculations and drawings.
The role requires a BS from an ABET‑accredited engineering program or an advanced management/business degree, along with at least ten years of experience designing multi‑disciplinary high‑voltage substation solutions and five years leading engineering design teams. Candidates must have hands‑on experience with MISO facility studies, knowledge of the DPP process, and familiarity with standards such as NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEC, IEEE, and ANSI. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for presentations, proposals, and reports, and travel to project sites or client meetings is expected.
Preferred but not required qualifications include an FE or PE license, PMP certification, and experience with construction, start‑up, or commissioning activities. These additional credentials can enhance a candidate’s fit for the position.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing employees to split time between the office and remote work from home. The compensation range for this role is $142,710.00 to $215,440.00, with a transparent disclosure of total compensation that combines base salary, benefits, and eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
