This hybrid role requires three days in the office and two days remote, allowing flexibility while working in a multi‑disciplined team of designers and engineers. You will apply computer‑aided drafting skills to create design drawings, receive hands‑on training in 3D software such as AutoCAD 3D or MicroStation, and produce scaled drawings that show proposed installations relative to existing facilities. The position also includes accompanying experienced designers on client walkdowns to gather information and explaining drawings to vendors and contractors for design adjustments.
We do not sponsor work authorization for this position. Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in drafting or a high school diploma with equivalent technical design experience, plus at least three years of physical design experience in grounding layouts, underground duct banks, conduit, cable tray, and equipment location drawings. Advanced drafting proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation, strong 3D visualization ability, and multitasking across projects are required, while knowledge of design techniques and engineering science is valued.
The compensation range for this role is $54,420.00 to $78,410.00, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, financial, and work‑life balance programs, as well as eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
