- Perform grading, utility, stormwater, and soil erosion/sediment control design.
- Prepare CAD files for authorized media release to external parties / agencies.
- Prepare project exhibits.
- Work from sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays, and isometric drawings, including digital terrain models and surfaces.
- Coordinate details and dimensions between drawing sheets.
- Prepare concept layout plans.
- Calculate quantity takeoffs and prepare cost estimates.
- Perform high-level design computations and earthwork calculations and prepare complete construction plans.
- Work with numerous project teams to help complete projects.
- Determine and calculate stormwater drainage areas and steep slope areas.
- Prepare and detail plans by analyzing sketches, notes, and other input material to determine the best approach to completing the drawings.

- High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associate's Degree or a Certificate from a technical school, preferably in AutoCAD.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
- Demonstrate general computer skills, knowledge, and acumen (i.e., familiarity with Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Address assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency is increased.
- 5+ years experience.
- Conform to the company’s standard CADD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, associated plug-ins such as Vehicular Tracking, and other related software.
