Field Technicians execute on‑site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems, ensuring functionality and reliability. They conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support while adhering to safety plans, quality reviews, and project metrics. Additional duties include tool inventory management, daily ORM meetings, PITCO plan execution, raceway and cabling installation, device termination, network configuration, QC inspections, commissioning, and mentoring crew members.
Candidates must hold a high‑school diploma or GED, military electronics training, or an accredited electronics technician or electrical apprenticeship credential, plus at least three years of electronics installation or maintenance experience. Required qualifications include 6+ years of relevant experience, a TS/SCI polygraph‑eligible security clearance, U.S. citizenship, strong oral and written communication skills, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred qualifications comprise vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems, three years focused on electronic security, and OSHA 30 certification.
The role requires the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, relocate a 12‑foot stepladder, and work at heights up to 60 feet on ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts. Physical tasks include walking, climbing, squatting, crawling, kneeling, and reaching overhead repeatedly. Applicants must have good vision (correctable), color perception, and be able to hear and communicate effectively in English.
