The Role

Overview

Assist the chef with meal preparation and maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen for care residents.

Tasks

-Ensure that the nutritional needs of residents are met -Empty kitchen rubbish and keep areas clear of refuse -Independently prepare hot meals/sandwiches for residents -Maintain a clean and hygienic environment -Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and Regulations -Clean kitchen and equipment -Collect and distribute crockery from/to the care floors -Assist chef with food preparation -Load and unload dishwasher, wash up equipment unsuitable for dishwasher
