The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, installing and servicing automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles.
Daily duties include promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes and relays, maintaining positive relationships across facilities, tracking and storing inventory, and handling loads up to 49 lb during shifts of up to 12 hours, with possible travel up to 20%.
JLL utilizes artificial intelligence to match candidates’ skills and experiences to role requirements and provides detailed privacy notices regarding the collection, security, and retention of personal data.
Required qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment, the ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas—including weekends, nights and holidays—and experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
Preferred qualifications include an associate or higher degree focused on mechanical or electrical fields, 2+ years with automated conveyor systems and controls, at least one year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading, knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, experience with OEM safety standards, proficiency with a CMMS, and background in robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
Physical demands involve repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, standing, walking, and lifting parts averaging 20 lb (occasionally up to 49 lb), as well as dexterity for eye‑hand coordination and work in confined, dusty, noisy, temperature‑varying, and sometimes elevated environments.

Estimated compensation for this position ranges from $60,320 to $60,674 per year, with final packages determined by qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations. The role is located on‑site in Woodbury, MN.
