The bartender is responsible for preparing alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages according to recipes, delivering high‑quality drinks in a clean, friendly environment, and providing consistent, exceptional service in line with Mainsail Lodging & Development standards.
Key duties include serving guests efficiently, preparing cocktails, pouring beer and wine, making beverage recommendations, running food to the bar, stocking and prepping the bar for each service period, maintaining clean glassware and equipment, and staying knowledgeable about menu offerings and beverage selections.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, fun, and energetic people who take the work seriously, but not themselves. We hope to find a good fit and encourage candidates to see if they align with our culture.
Applicants must hold at least a high school diploma, have two years of high‑volume bartending experience, possess strong mixology fundamentals, and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills. Proficiency with technology such as POS systems, tablets, and iPads, as well as a team‑oriented, organized work style and a sense of ownership, are also required.
Full‑time associates receive comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA options, basic life and disability coverage, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, holiday pay, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance, and free meals, among other perks. Part‑time associates enjoy the same benefits except for medical insurance and holiday pay.
