We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buying Coordinator to join our clients team. In this role, you will support our buying and pricing operations, ensuring smooth supply chain processes, accurate product information, and effective communication between suppliers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in keeping our product range and pricing up to date, supporting both online and in-store operations.
- Support sales and customer service teams by addressing special order queries and supplier issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers to gather product information and communicate it to internal teams.
- Provide regular reports on supplier performance, dispatch times, and other key metrics.
- Collect and upload product information into the Microsoft Dynamics ERP system.
- Provide specialist product and pricing insights to sales and operational teams.
- Communicate updates to internal stakeholders to maximise trading opportunities.
- Raise, check, and manage all purchase orders, ensuring accurate terms and margins.
- Maintain comprehensive vendor records and ensure all terms and pricing details are accurate.
- Contribute to supply chain projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Update pricing, including special offers and promotions, ensuring accuracy across all channels.
- Work closely with marketing, eCommerce, and branch teams on new product launches.
- Coordinate incoming orders to guarantee timely delivery through effective shipping management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (or similar ERP systems).
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar buying, procurement, or pricing role.
- Motivated, confident, and able to follow through to complete tasks efficiently.
- Highly organised with a disciplined approach and strong attention to detail.
