Prepare and manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) and Fuel Tax Credit calculations in line with ATO regulations.
Prepare and deliver accurate and timely month-end and year-end management accounts.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes and enhance efficiency.
Maintain and update the Project Asset Register, including asset depreciation management.
Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements.
Assist with the preparation of monthly project cost reports and variance analysis.
Assist with the calculation and management of leave entitlements for project personnel, ensuring compliance with relevant awards and agreements.
Ensure compliance with the Project Alliance Agreement (PAA) and other contractual obligations.
Manage ad-hoc financial tasks, including responding to stakeholder requests and preparing custom financial analyses.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements, maintaining high standards of accuracy, accountability, and professional integrity.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, ideally within a large corporate or major project environment.
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CA qualification is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
Demonstrated capability in preparing month-end reports, supporting audits, and managing tax compliance, including Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) and Fuel Tax Credits.
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships across finance, project, and operational teams.
Proficient in financial systems and tools, with advanced Excel skills in data analysis and financial modelling.
Qualified accounting professional with a strong understanding of project-based financial management and statutory compliance requirements.
