- Conducting or coordinating material testing, including concrete (yield, slump, air content) and soil/aggregate (moisture, density) tests.

- 1–4 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience with WisDOT projects is preferred.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or pursuit of Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure.
- Highway Technician Certification Program (HTCP) certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and processes.
