Ensures project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately
Implements and tracks project budgets and schedules
Generates project status updates monthly and manages day-to-day project communication to clients
Performs cost accounting and risk/opportunity management
Ensures extensive regular contact with assigned project clients and equipment vendors is met
Ensures effective communication and coordination of project requirements pertaining to assigned projects between all Nikkiso disciplines and all other project participants
Creates and executes project work plans
Generates project schedules, project budgets, statement of work, and customer status reports
Host customers and/or their representatives during visits to Nikkiso.
In order to perform the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
Participates in client/contractor meetings and resolves project management issues
Ensure that Nikkiso quality and EHS standards are maintained.
Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned project work; monitors work to ensure on-time release and delivery
Communicate with customers and internal team, revising work plans to meet changing needs and/or requirements
Coordinates all project management activities on assigned projects with focus on managing schedule, budget, and risks and their mitigations
Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards
Maintain clear and timely communication with other departments to keep the project moving and avoid delays.
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

Job specific training modules deemed necessary by employee’s Manager or Director will be required of all employees on an ongoing basis
2+ years of engineering product/project management experience required
Candidates will be required to show a driving abstract with a clean driving history for travel between the NCI facility locations and client offices as required. A valid driver’s license is necessary.
New Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees, including Safety Awareness
Knowledge of project management standards and best practices
Must possess communication and presentation skills
Excellent negotiation skills are a must
Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel to a Client's office, production facility or industrial/construction job site. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.
