Maintain and enhance business relationships with counterparties and Suppliers to foster team building and accountability in the purchase and delivery of Equipment, Materials, and Construction Services
Lead and collaborate with Sourcing, Site Contract Managers, Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Controls, Invoice Approvers, and suppliers/contractors to negotiate, influence, and manage commercial contract execution in a manner that aligns with approved strategies and meets overall Supply Chain and Customer requirements and objectives
Review and approve, reject, or modify change order requests for legitimacy against the existing contract in collaboration with Project Management. Manage the commercial aspects of ongoing work with Suppliers and review compliance with non-commercial terms. Sourcing of Purchase Orders, as required.
Site visits will be required to the Gas Program Construction sites.
Lead the effort with Suppliers, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Project Controls to monitor Supplier equipment/material deliveries and engage Expediting as needed to support the overall project schedule
Ensure vendor compliance with commercial contract terms and conditions. Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Controls, Site Contract Managers, and Sourcing Specialists to resolve contract disputes, claims and defaults. Collaborate as required with Legal for necessary legal advice and support.
