Transmission and Distribution Opportunities

Description

• Design and deliver transmission and distribution infrastructure, including overhead lines, underground cables, substations, battery storage, and HVDC links.
• Conduct high‑voltage power system analysis, protection design, SCADA, and communications engineering.
• Apply BS and Eurocode standards to all engineering designs.
• Collaborate with internal and external clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, communicating technical issues clearly.
• Contribute to the Great Grid Program to integrate renewable energy and support UK net‑zero targets.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an electrical, electronic, or power engineering qualification (HNC, HND, BSc/BEng, MSc/MEng) and have demonstrable consultancy experience on T&D projects. A solid understanding of BS and Eurocode design standards and strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors are essential.

• Hold an HNC/HND, BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in electrical/electronic/power engineering.
• Demonstrate consultancy experience on transmission and distribution projects.
