You’ll support data‑center startups and perform on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, as well as lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems. Partnering with automation and controls engineers, you’ll test, troubleshoot, and validate systems while keeping customers and project teams informed of progress. Typical travel rotations follow a 5‑on/2‑off, 10‑on/4‑off, or 14‑on/7‑off schedule, giving you new challenges and new locations on each project.
We’re opening our 2026 hiring pipeline for curious, adaptable problem‑solvers who prefer being on the move to sitting behind a desk. If you can laugh through flight delays, figure things out on the fly, and enjoy solving complex problems, you’ll fit right in with a team that knows your name. Our four‑week paid training prepares technically skilled individuals, but success requires a basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking.
Candidates must love travel, be able to live within 50 miles of a major airport, and have a personal vehicle available within 45 days of employment. A technical degree or equivalent hands‑on experience (3+ years) in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering, plus a working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and networking, is preferred. Physical duties include walking long distances, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in varied environments such as construction sites and outdoors.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion, and we welcome applicants who are authorized to work in the U.S. If you’re ready for a challenging, travel‑filled career where your effort matters, apply now to join our radar for early 2026 hiring.
The role lets you combine work and travel, visiting new cities while tackling unique automation projects for customers across North America. We also provide health, dental, and life insurance, a matching 401(k), short‑ and long‑term disability, paid vacation and flexible time off after 18 months. Because we’re a smaller, people‑first company, leadership has risen from within and teammates hold each other to high standards while keeping humor in the mix.
