Knowledge of Texas Commission of Environmental Quality regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
Master’s Degree in Engineering or Master’s Degree in Business Administration
Basic experience with preparing permit applications for oversight agencies to address the full range of environmental issues and conditions associated with water/wastewater projects.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large projects on time and under budget.
Effective self-leadership with attention to detail, results orientation, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.

5 to 7 years of relevant post education experience in water/wastewater engineering.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a focus in Water/Wastewater or closely related discipline.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience either orally or written.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply technical knowledge to reach conclusions from testing results, data collation, statistical analysis and arriving at the most effective, economical, and logical solution.
Familiarity with hydraulic modeling (such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, etc.), process modeling (GPS-X, etc), and with ESRI ArcGIS software.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instruction, work independently, and comply with company policies.
Demonstrated ability mentoring junior staff in engineering principles and growing them into competent engineers.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas.
