The General Manager has full responsibility for the overall operations and profit and loss of the assigned property, overseeing staffing, administration, accounting, marketing, leasing, maintenance, capital improvements, and resident services. The role drives high productivity through reliable attendance and demonstrates a strong commitment to internal and external customer service. The General Manager represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Work hours are 9 am–6 pm, Monday through Friday, with extended hours and weekends required as needed to meet business needs. The position includes day shifts and on‑call responsibilities, including occasional weekend work.
The role primarily operates in a professional office setting but may require occasional outdoor work and the ability to stand for long periods, move around the office, and lift up to 30 pounds. Employees must have strong visual acuity for data analysis, computer use, and extensive reading, and may need to travel locally or overnight as required.
