Key responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and evaluate process design solutions for water treatment works, preparing design calculations, drawings, CDM documents and job packs, and assessing whole‑life and TOTEX costs to select optimal process options. The engineer will also review project scopes, guarantee the quality of deliverables, and provide technical support and mentorship to colleagues.
South East Water is seeking a Process Engineer who will deliver engineering excellence while meeting regulatory and quality standards. The role involves shaping water infrastructure through innovative process solutions and ensuring all deliverables align with the company's asset, regulatory, water quality, and operational strategies.
Applicants should hold an HNC/HND, degree or equivalent in chemical engineering or a related scientific field, with a solid understanding of relevant regulations and process‑engineering standards. Chartered Engineer status is advantageous, and candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, problem‑solving, time‑management and IT skills, as well as a passion for continuous professional development and experience in the water industry.
