The engineer will deliver complex technical designs and optimizations for customer projects and service teams, translating customer needs into technical requirements and establishing project strategies, internal procedures, and best practices. Responsibilities include communicating results, issues, and solutions both internally and to customers, as well as troubleshooting product and system issues within the application domain.
- Prepare engineering documents including protection conceptual designs, functional specifications, and FAT/SAT test plans
- Provide technical support during tender stages with deviation analysis, BOM preparation, and effort estimation
- Work with a full range of SE numerical relays
- Prepare relay setting and logic files, including CID/ICD files
- Perform protection relay site commissioning
- Calculate CT, VT, and protection relay settings; configure, test, and validate systems
- Participate in customer FAT and site commissioning activities
- Travel and undertake overseas assignments for FAT and site commissioning
- Design CRP and automation panels as a preference
- Use engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Elecdesk, E‑Base, and E‑Plan
- Coordinate technical documents and approvals with internal teams or customers
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders during project execution

The role seeks a Senior Engineer with expertise in control and protection application design, relay configuration, FAT, and site commissioning. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized institution and have over 10 years of experience in the electrical/power system engineering domain.
A B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is required, along with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience. Applicants are encouraged to submit an online application to be considered for the position.
- Experience in protection and application design for HV, MV, and LV systems
- Knowledge of protection applications such as overcurrent, differential, distance, generator, and motor
- Familiarity with ABB, Siemens, GE, SEL, and other relay manufacturers
- Understand SCADA and communication protocols like IEC61850 and Modbus
- Possess basic power system knowledge and ETAP tool experience
- Familiar with IEC and ANSI standards
- International project execution experience is advantageous
