  • Communicate with sales teams regarding delinquent customer accounts, customer hold status, and non-responsive customers
  • Coordinate the customer credit approval process, including the processing of credit applications and the management of credit references
  • Communicate with customers to resolve discrepancies on disputed items
  • Process customer credit memos
  • Apply cash receipts to open receivables
  • Perform collections calls on past-due amounts and delinquent accounts
  • Update customer profile in MS Finance and Operations
  • Manage the process of placing customers on hold and removing hold when appropriate
  • Communicate with management regarding potential write off of bad debt
  • Send invoices and customer statements to customers sales teams
  • Update the analysis of the customers’ credit risk profiles
  • Support month-end activities and year-end close process
  • Communicate with customers to request documents for credit approval and/or account maintenance
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and review for accuracy
  • Monitor and maintain accounts receivable aging
  • Respond to credit inquiries
  • Reconcile customer accounts
  • Negotiate payments and payment plans on delinquent receivables
  • Assist with special projects
  • Assist with the lien notification and lien release processes
  • Follow up on short-pay remittances and billing disputes
  • Establish, document, communicate, implement, and update credit policies

  • Experience applying customer cash receipts

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and automated accounting systems, with MS Finance and Operations preferred
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
