Fire Sprinkler Installation employees are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing fire protection systems such as wet, dry, pre‑action, deluge, foam suppression systems, fire pumps, and backflow devices.
You will apply judgment based on practice and precedence, allocate work as a team leader, and bring any changes, discrepancies, or coordination problems to the construction manager’s attention. Frequent problem resolution will involve researching multiple alternatives, maintaining proper documentation, and reviewing project drawings to ensure installations meet specifications. Flexible shift work, weekend coverage, and participation in an after‑hours on‑call rotation may be required, and all company safety policies must be followed.
The position requires a minimum of three years of documented experience in fire sprinkler installation and service or an equivalent mechanical background, as well as Sprinkler Foreman experience. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, be able to obtain required licenses, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Physical requirements include lifting up to 70 lb and working in challenging positions such as ladders, scaffolding, ducts, crawl spaces, and ceilings up to 60 feet.
Strong communication, organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly are essential, along with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions and adhere to safety guidelines. Preferred certifications include OSHA, MSHA, or NICET. The hourly range is $26.53–$36.53, determined by experience and qualifications, and the role includes a competitive benefits package.
