Make site assessments and evaluate any risks.
Attend handover meetings were required and explain project scope, estimate, clarifications and assumptions.
Attend post tender presentations with the client where required.
Liaising with operational colleagues
Responsible for the checking of accuracy and completeness of client’s tender documents
In conjunction with procurement, liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers to obtain the best available quotations.
Preparation of tenders and quotations from client’s specifications and drawings within defined time periods.

Adherence to company governance processes
A proven track record in providing technical solutions and costing for an electrical and civil engineering environment.
An understanding of the planning and sequencing of electrical construction projects
A full driving license.
A HNC or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or other relevant subjects.
A detailed knowledge of HV & LV switchgear and installations
Previous experience of a role in HV estimating involving significant exposure to a wide range of specifications and commercial tender documents.
