A global commercial real‑estate firm delivering services from leasing to asset and facilities management.
The Shift Engineer role ensures smooth operations and maintenance of all technical services—including Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, DG, Fire Systems, Plumbing, BMS, and other critical engineering services—within the facility. It focuses on compliance, safety, uptime, and cost efficiency.
The engineer monitors and operates MEP systems, HVAC, DG sets, UPS, STP/WTP, and fire systems on a daily basis. They execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules according to OEM and statutory guidelines to minimize equipment downtime. They also ensure compliance with licenses, safety protocols, and support internal and external audits.
Vendor and team management involves coordinating with AMC vendors, service providers, and contractors for technical service delivery. The engineer supervises technicians and engineers, verifies service reports, and validates vendor invoices to ensure timely task completion.
Technical documentation includes maintaining daily checklists, logbooks, equipment history cards, and MIS reports. They prepare incident reports, root‑cause analyses, and corrective action recommendations, while serving as the single point of contact for technical issues and supporting soft services and projects.
Candidates should have 3–7 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or technical maintenance, with hands‑on expertise in electrical systems, HVAC, DG sets, UPS, STP/WTP, and fire & safety systems. Experience in commercial, corporate, IT/ITES, or industrial facilities, vendor management, AMC coordination, and technical audits is required, along with high attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
