Participate in the development of loss prevention, quality control, and sustainability plans.
Ensure as-built drawings are accurately updated to reflect project changes and clarifications.
As a Project Engineer, you’ll support project teams across all phases of construction—from preconstruction planning to closeout. You’ll assist with document control, coordination, and field operations, while gaining valuable exposure to key disciplines such as project management, field supervision, estimating, safety, and VDC (Virtual Design & Construction).
Attend and document project meetings, assisting with progress reports and meeting minutes.
Distribute proposal change documents and assist with collecting and reviewing subcontractor pricing.
Proactively review and process all submittals and shop drawings to ensure timely material delivery.
Help manage the permitting process and assist with coordination between project stakeholders.
Perform quantity takeoffs and collaborate with senior preconstruction staff to support cost estimating.
Support the project management team in setting up new projects within the project management system.
Maintain accurate and organized administrative logs (RFIs, RFPs, Submittals, IRNs, etc.).
Serve as the on-site quality manager for assigned trades, ensuring deliveries meet project specifications.
Assist with constructability reviews and help refine project documentation.
Assist in the development and control of contract documents and project administration procedures.
Partner with the Superintendent to develop the site utilization plan and coordinate logistics.
0-3 years of progressive industry experience (internship or entry-level).
Ability to collaborate within a team and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in construction management and scheduling software, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum 2-year Associate’s Degree, preferred 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
