Key duties include safely operating powered take‑up and wire‑processing equipment, pulling wire from large reels, accurately measuring and cutting wire to customer‑specified lengths, and installing and securing pulling heads as needed. The associate also packages, labels, and stages completed orders for shipment, conducts quality checks, maintains production logs and inventory records, and performs daily equipment inspections.
Physical demands include regularly lifting up to 50 lb (occasionally 75 lb with assistance), pushing or pulling heavy wire reels with material‑handling equipment, and standing, bending, reaching, and walking for extended periods in a noisy, dusty warehouse setting.
