Undertaking first aider duties and fire warden duties on site
Comply everywhere and in all circumstances with the laws and regulations connected with their activities.
Be responsible for their own professional conduct.
Maintaining accurate records for the import and export of material and of all activities on the site.
Ensuring that within his/her areas of responsibility, SUEZ Recycling & Recovery UK Ltd complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions. Including site visitors and contractors.
Comply with our obligations to our partners such as shareholders, associates, clients, suppliers and the community.
Maintenance of site equipment and tools
The successful applicant will be required to undertake personal development to obtain skills for good customer service, waste acceptance, maintenance of site equipment, infrastructure and operation of site machinery e.g. loading shovel.
Co-operating with SUEZ R & R UK Ltd and with other employees in order to comply with site permit, all applicable legislation and SUEZ R & R UK Ltd Policies and Procedures
Operating the loading shovel to stockpile material and load wagons for the export of material
Daily Stock takes and daily input of load details for stand alone HWRC’s
Operating the weighbridge and following waste acceptance procedures to ensure correct and safe import and export of materials.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to obtain a full working understanding of the site licence / permit and who will work to ensure site operations exceed the standards required.
Basic computer skills for the input and recording of data on SUEZ R & R UK Ltd weighbridge and reporting systems are a requirement for this position.
Benefits
Working 38.5 average hour per week with half hour break
Salary £12.71 per hour
This is an ideal opportunity to work as part of a small team in a Transfer Station, which has a large emphasis on recycling. SUEZ R & R UK Ltd is committed to the training and progression of its employees and can offer you the opportunity for future advancement and development within our company.
