The position supports project teams by applying developing professional skills to basic design and technical tasks. Working under general supervision, the role involves using standard techniques while remaining eager to learn, highly organized, and creatively contributing to the team.
Key responsibilities include revising drawings and presentations, preparing implementation document sets, organizing project files, and assisting in the development and management of furniture and interior fitting packages. The role also involves conducting site surveys, developing interior concepts aligned with client vision, performing research, coordinating with vendors, and supporting construction administration through RFI and submittal reviews.
- Revise drawings, presentations, and renderings under lead designer direction.
- Assist in preparing implementation document sets such as interior plans, fixture plans, elevations, and details.
- Organize project files, materials, and display assets.
- Develop and manage furniture and interior fitting packages.
- Conduct site surveys, field verification, and test fit plans.
- Contribute to interior concept development based on client vision and project scope.
- Perform research on concepts, sites, clients, and materials for the project team.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for finish sample procurement and selection.
- Communicate with other disciplines, consultants, and contractors to integrate information into project requirements.
- Review RFIs and submittals during the construction administration phase.
- Participate in product presentations to stay informed on industry products and materials.
- Engage in team meetings to discuss project, technical, and coordination issues.

Candidates should hold an accredited degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with 0‑3 years of experience and be on the path to NCIDQ certification. Required skills include basic proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, Bluebeam, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and MS Office, with intermediate to advanced abilities in visualization, AI design tools, and VR preferred, as well as knowledge of sustainability guidelines and FF&E specifications.
- Hold an accredited degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field with 0‑3 years experience.
- Be on the path to NCIDQ certification; sustainable design accreditation preferred.
- Basic experience with Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Dynamo; intermediate proficiency desired.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Twinmotion, Enscape, or other visualization tools.
- Intermediate skills in AI design tools and VR platforms such as Yulio.
- Basic proficiency in Bluebeam, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of furniture specification software; Navisworks preferred.
- Understanding of sustainability and integrated design guidelines.
- Familiarity with furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) specifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to problem‑solve, collaborate, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as required.
