In this role, you will be at the heart of large-scale EPC programs, driving procurement strategies that ensure cost efficiency, on-time delivery, and uncompromising quality. You’ll work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, partnering with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and global supply chain teams to deliver solutions that matter. From tender phase strategy to project execution, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping procurement excellence and enabling the energy transition.
- Issue RFIs/RFQs and perform techno-commercial evaluations with engineering teams.
- Lead end-to-end tender and project procurement for EPC programs.
- Drive expediting plans to achieve on-time delivery for critical-path equipment.
- Build and own the Project Procurement Plan (PPP) and procurement schedule.
- Publish procurement dashboards and risk heatmaps for project visibility.
- Support negotiations on pricing, warranties, and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Develop sourcing strategies and supplier lists aligned with bid requirements.
- Anticipate and mitigate delivery risks through proactive planning and recovery paths.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), scheduling tools (P6/MS Project), and analytics platforms.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Proven track record managing large-scale procurement plans and driving OTD ≥ 95%.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with supplier quality processes and documentation requirements.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement within project environments (EPC, utilities, industrial).
