Tasks

As a pivotal role, the Marketing Manager will develop and implement marketing strategies which are aligned with the brand positioning of the centre, whilst also driving performance through the effective delivery of sales and traffic driving campaigns and communications. -Drawing analysis and insights from relevant research data to inform the team on opportunities and threats around market share, category performance, customer segments and retail trends. -Driving a centre activation schedule that positions the asset experience above competitors and enables high levels of retailer participation and customer engagement. -Supporting the Marketing General Manager in the development of the annual Marketing Strategy which underpins the broader Business Plan to drive traffic, sales and market share and developing and managing the annual marketing budget ensuring prudent expense management and accurate month end forecasting. -Coaching, developing and leading the Marketing Executive to effectively execute the Strategic Marketing Plan and drive their professional growth. -Working with the greater asset team, actively contribute to the delivery of the retailer engagement strategy at the asset to deliver an optimal retailer onboarding. -Ensuring brand positioning and creative execution are in line with the strategic direction of Cockburn Gateway and influence the behaviour of the centre’s key customer segments. -Planning and managing the content strategy including the execution and evaluation of content performance, ensuring that content is in line with current insights from digital & social analysis (e.g. Google Analytics, Social listening tools FB & Instagram) in order to evolve centre digital and social strategies. -Developing campaigns which respond to market opportunities, that are on brand and that drive engagement across all platforms including in-precinct, website, social, mobile, targeted and segmented email marketing, Wi-Fi, SEO/SEM and online advertising. -Engage in comprehensive Wellbeing programs and benefit from market-leading policies and support tailored to diverse needs.

What You Bring

You are able to identify key priorities, manage multiple projects and deliver initiatives within budget and are able to build effective working relationships. You are a tertiary qualified, Marketing Manager, with prior experience in a similar role within the retail sector and a good understanding how to build a consumer facing brand. A creative thinker, you will have the ability to interpret consumer research to develop strategies, campaigns and actions and then critically assess, measure and report campaign results. You will also need exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead and set direction and have sound digital and social capabilities to drive the content strategies across these channels and connect with offline experiences. -Earned a silver ranking in Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) for LGBTQIA+ inclusion.
