As a Graduate Digital Engineer, you’ll rotate across key areas to develop your skills and gain the experience you need to progress towards professional accreditation.

  • Build strong working relationships with clients, designers, engineers and site teams to promote digital innovation
  • Support data-driven decision making by extracting quantities, sequencing and performance information from models
  • Support the development, coordination and management of 3D models using BIM software
  • Help ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans and digital project standards
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining Common Data Environments (CDEs) to manage project information
  • Assist in producing digital handover information to support asset management and facilities operations
  • Work with design and site teams to integrate digital models into construction planning and delivery

This role will be based in the Wigan region, where you’ll work within our Regional Building and North West team. Flexibility to travel across sites in the region will be required as part of your development.

  • Previous placement, project or BIM-related experience (desirable but not essential)
  • A degree (or expected in 2026) in Digital Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline (2:1 or above)
  • Professional accreditation support (e.g. ICE, CIOB, BRE BIM certification)
  • A full UK driving licence (or working towards by the time you start)
  • Good written and verbal communication, able to engage with a wide range of people
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a logical approach
