  • Responsible for reviewing plans and specifications, pricing, quoting and generating detailed technical documentation for humidifiers.
  • Conduct internal technical training for new product launches, or newly hired employees.
  • Provide technical expertise during sales and engineering calls.
  • Assume responsibility as the primary technical expert for all Condair products and services offered by APA.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both commercial and residential mechanical engineers and contractors that influence humidifier specifications and purchases.
  • Provide technical support and product recommendations based on client needs and system specifications for APA's custom designed products/systems.
  • Periodic travel to attend factory training/national sales meetings.
  • Work closely with engineers and sales team members during technical submittal reviews.
  • Identify and qualify sales leads, moving them through the sales process to closing.
  • Utilize manufacturer tools and software.
  • Manage technical humidifier questions to ensure accuracy and consistency with users or installers.
  • Work directly with the manufacturer as required to obtain factory quotes and complete all bid requirements.
  • Visit job sites with sales team and/or clients as required to assess field conditions, or issues, and develop action plan to remedy.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop strategies for business growth.
  • Create and conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Support database management and pipeline as required.
  • Lead the growth of the Condair humidifier product line.
  • Learn and develop knowledge of other APA products.
  • Participate in company sales meetings.
