Instrumentation design, selection and approval.
Witness testing of panel FATs and site SATs when applicable
Attend project, staff, company, design review, ISO, and group meetings and actively participate in discussions
Coordinate and collaborate across project disciplines both within the office and outside
Review and approval of panel FAT documents and SAT documents
The role will involve the ability to work independently with client to understand the individual project requirements then delivering the BMS system design to a specific standard for the BMS contractor to develop the installation detail which will be monitored & witnessed for compliance with the design
BMS Contractor management. Review & comment on contractor site queries, technical submittals and panel shop drawings/wiring diagrams for compliance against the design intent
Design BMS System Architecture & Topography
Design of control systems across various BMS platforms to develop the required project documentation; BMS I/O lists, HVAC and Utility Sequence of Operations documents, Scope of Works, Functional Specifications, Hardware Specifications.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Level 8 University Engineering degree (i.e. Mechanical, Building Services, Automation Engineering) with minimum five (5) years relevant experience is preferred; or, minimum five (5) year apprenticeship program or related College technical diploma with six or more years of relevant experience.
General knowledge of network configuration, computer hardware and software, including automation applications
Experience in a GMP manufacturing facility and Data Centre’s.
Knowledge and strong background in BMS
Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, data centre, or health-related facility
Experience in a BMS redundancy design.
Client interface management, to understand project requirements and presentation of design at design stage gates
Good understanding of current good manufacturing practices, 21 CFR Part 11, 210 and 211, and Annex 11
Able to effectively deal with issues arising throughout the daily cycle and develop solutions to ensure successful resolution
Ability to multitask on various projects and manage your own projects and deliverables.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Vision, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization
