The Facility Engineer will oversee all engineering and maintenance requirements of the site, ensuring 100% uptime of critical equipment and coordinating with vendors for annual maintenance contracts.
Key duties include taking over from the previous shift engineer, monitoring and maintaining all M&E systems such as electrical, UPS, lifts, HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, and carpentry, and establishing engineering and operational procedures for site staff.
The role involves regular technical audits, managing M&E project scope, planning critical spares inventories, and maintaining multiple internal portals for PPM, EHS, project approvals, training, and help‑desk tracking.
Additional responsibilities cover daily walk‑throughs, handyman work, implementation of LOTO and safety procedures, vendor SLA monitoring, risk and energy management programs, and conducting regular inspections and audits.
The engineer will provide administrative support for facilities management, process vendor invoices, liaise with finance for tax exemption documents, and coordinate training programs with OEM vendors.
Performance metrics focus on 100% compliance with preventive‑maintenance plans, maintaining uninterrupted operation of electro‑mechanical equipment, and driving initiatives that improve operational efficiency and cost savings.
