Description

Key duties include delivering ER consulting to designated client groups, investigating employee complaints, and recommending corrective actions or terminations based on policy and legal risk. The specialist also coaches managers on performance management, progressive discipline, and involuntary separations, and advises on misconduct, leave of absence, and accommodation requests while ensuring thorough documentation.

The role serves as the subject‑matter expert for the case‑management tool, generating reports and tracking trends, and provides change‑management support to HR Business Partners and managers. It also collaborates on position elimination activities, coordinates business cases with HR teams, and contributes to the development of training materials, tools, templates, and HR policies.

• Participate in ER‑related projects and contribute to company‑wide HR policy development.

Requirements

The Employee Relations Specialist provides governance and consulting services to internal clients on employee relations matters. Success in this role requires exceptional virtual communication, strong relationship building, an action‑oriented mindset, and precise written documentation.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in HR or a related field and have 2–4 years of progressive ER or HR Generalist experience. Preferred qualifications include PHR or SPHR certification, strong diagnostic and analytical abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, influencing skills, and Spanish language proficiency.
