- Collect data using survey equipment
- Perform calculations
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, including electronic data collectors, levels, electronic total station, GPS, and survey vehicles
- Perform boundary, topography, ATLA, right of way, and construction surveys
- Use of multiple types of utility designating equipment.
- Sets up, adjusts, and operates surveying equipment including electronic total station, data collector, and GPS equipment, in order to measure distances, elevations and angles

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Vacuum Excavation and Ground Penetrating Radar equipment/procedures.
- Must be able to fully comprehend and interpret roadway and utility construction plans, and utility record drawings.
- Land Surveying experience a plus
- Able to pass Security Background Checks
- Able to work 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday (Minimum)
- Good organizational, written, and verbal communications skills.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the successful application of multiple types of utility designating and locating equipment, with demonstrated ability to lead project assignments and supervise multiple crews
- Able to bend, kneel, lift and carry up to 50lbs as needed.
- Ability to travel required.
- Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
- Team Attitude / Mindset
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lead project assignments.
- Valid driver's license
