The Pipefitter position is responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems and related equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial processing applications. The role requires precise selection of materials, careful planning of installation sequences, and execution of cuts, bends, threads, joins, and pressure testing to ensure reliable operation of the systems.
Work is performed in physically demanding conditions, often requiring up to 12‑hour shifts, heavy lifting (up to 50 lb), and movement in confined, uneven, or elevated areas. Employees must consistently use required personal protective equipment, adapt to variable weather and site conditions, and maintain stamina for repetitive tasks throughout the day.
This is a full‑time position with a typical schedule of 50 hours per week and up to 90 % travel, meaning the employee will be on‑site for the majority of the project duration with occasional travel back to their residence. Employment is contingent on pre‑employment screening, including background checks and drug testing.
Compensation starts at $34.00 per hour, with performance‑based merit increases.
