Building effective relationships with other Regional EDO Business Group Leaders and with Market Leaders within and outside the Region.
Managing Business Group performance, people, and resources
Developing and supporting business opportunities, and ensuring sustainable growth of the EDO services
Providing vision and direction for the Ontario EDO business that links with GHD’s North America market strategy, and input into the Region Market Strategy
Working and aligning closely with more than twenty Business Groups in Ontario with respect to project pursuits, staff and workload planning and project delivery excellence
Being well-connected and influential, building and developing relationships with the other Regional BGLs and supporting relationships with existing and potential clients and partners, with a focus on engineering and design services
Providing leadership to the Business Group in line with GHD’s objectives and values of Safety, Teamwork, Respect and Integrity

Demonstrated technical capability across your area of technical expertise, including all project phases from project planning, to detailed design and construction services
Ability and desire to mentor and train team members, and to build a strong team of skilled professionals
Detailed knowledge of different types of project delivery methods/models for various markets.
Proven background of managing a large multidisciplinary engineering design delivery organization.
Effective & proven project delivery, networking and relationship management skills
Ability to develop lasting internal and external relationships based on trust and delivery excellence
Proven background in project leadership through all project phases, from proposals, to the delivery of engineering and design services, to project completion/closeout
Professional engineering designation in a Canadian province. (Other licenses in USA would be considered an asset)
