SR ANALYST, GROSS PROFIT ANALYTICS

Description

• Monitor load forecast accuracy and report position for each cost component.
• Report gross profit from origination to realization and explain changes.
• Verify accuracy of invoices from trading counterparties.
• Ensure cost pass‑through to customers aligns with market and product configuration.
• Provide feedback on forward curves managed by Portfolio Management.
• Provide feedback on hedge effectiveness and risk premiums set by Portfolio Management.
• Monitor pricing and billing process accuracy.

Requirements

The role is based in Houston, TX, operating in a hybrid workplace environment that requires in‑person presence as needed.

• 3‑5 years of retail energy settlements, gross profit, risk or pricing experience in major US markets (ERCOT, PJM, ISONE, NYISO, MISO, CAISO).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data analysis skills.
• Excellent business writing and communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
• Proficient in SQL and Excel; Python experience beneficial.
• Learner mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Self‑motivated with strong time‑management.
