Work with Quality dept. to interpret layout data
Ensure the maximization of new part development
Computes cutting speeds, feed rates and dimensions
Support Set Up employees through normal trouble shooting issues
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Determine the sequence of machine operations and select the proper cutting tools needed to machine workpieces

Develop and optimize CNC Programs for Haas, Brothers, and DMG Mori CNC Machines
Support the development of machines parts, tools, tooling and machine fixtures
Prepares and pre-sets all tools needed for machining operations
Setup and adjust CNC Machines
Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation.
Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems.
Comply with safety policies and procedures.
Perform equipment/maintenance checks
Support with set-up documentation creation and control
Ensure/verify machining programs - to ensure compliance to drawing and specification requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.

Working knowledge of Horizontal Mills
