We’re looking for a Testing & Technical Support Trainee to join our Major Projects Delivery Team. You will work alongside experienced testers to support the testing, commissioning, and maintenance of lift installations across a variety of environments.

  • Support testing, inspection, and commissioning of lifts to industry standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues, customers, and suppliers to deliver outstanding service
  • Ensure all activities comply with Stannah’s safety and quality procedures
  • Assist with site safety management and health monitoring
  • Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and provide technical reports

You must have at at least a NVQ level 3 in Lifts .

If you have a comprehensive Lift engineering background, including an NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent – we want to hear from you!

This role offers hands-on training in technical support, site safety, and quality assurance to build your expertise within Stannah’s specialist lift engineering division.

  • Willing to work away from home when required
  • Safety-conscious, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Qualified NVQ3 Lift Engineer (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of British Standards EN81/EN115 and lift testing procedures
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and good communication skills
