To grow the RGU business in the region by conducting business development activities, including being on-site and underground with key potential customers.
To work proactively with Rock Mechanics Engineers and other stakeholders at various mine sites to support them in optimizing their ground support programs and assist in finding solutions to their specific challenges.
To control and safeguard the company’s assigned assets, such as sales stock, office goods, test equipment, and customer receivables.
With the help of the Commercial Specialist, to assist in defining and controlling customer net pricing to remain commercially viable and competitive.
To work with the Business Line Manager to ensure that appropriate resources are in place or developed in line with business growth targets, with special attention to adequate training and support.
To grow and develop direct reports, such as Product & Application Specialists and Technical Service Representatives, to provide customer support and conduct product testing.
To know the region’s market and market share, along with competitor activities.
To elaborate, develop, and control the execution of the Ground Support Marketing Plan and activities by market segment to achieve the best results.
With the support of the Commercial Specialist, the Business Manager will take full responsibility for the profit and loss statement and balance sheet.

Previous experience within a consumables business line at Epiroc would be an advantage.

Five (5) years of experience working with ground support products and their applications within the mining industry.
Self-motivated and well-organized working profile.
Good communication skills and strong customer focus.
Solid technical knowledge and experience with ground support programs and rock mechanics theory.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Combined commercial and technical interests with the aptitude to stay informed.
Fluent English is essential; bilingual in French Canadian would be an advantage.
University degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or another university degree complemented with extensive relevant experience.
Proven business acumen with experience in sales/marketing within mining products or related industries.
