Shear, notch, cut, bend, punch different types of metal;
Maintain records of consumption documents.
Operate metalworking machines such as Accushear, Variable Angle Notching Machine, Schroder Panel Bender, and Prima Power Bending; and
Lifting of materials or components periodically up to 50 lbs unassisted
Measure and mark sheet metal according to the drawings;

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Previous experience in manufacturing environment is an asset
Must have the mechanical aptitude required to learn and operate all aspects of machinery.
Ability to read a tape measure, diagrams, and blueprints.
Must be able to read and understand written instructions.
May have to lift, bend, and be exposed to continuous periods of standing.
Knowledge and understanding of material gauges.
Must be reliable and dependable.
General understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, cut lists and sheet metal principles.
Must have mechanical aptitude.
Must have basic computer and math skills with ability read ruler.
