

Act as a liaison with local financial committee members, supporting committee objectives, facilitating meeting preparation and participation, and ensuring timely execution of follow-up actions in close coordination with the Global Finance team.
Provide interpretation, guidance, and support to attorneys, paralegals, and staff regarding all aspects of billing and collections processes.
The Senior Billing Manager is an integral part of the Office Accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting one or more offices by applying extensive knowledge of generally accepted billing and revenue management procedures to help advance the organization's financial objectives. The position oversees the full end-to-end billing lifecycle, including billing operations and collection activities. This role will be based in the New York office. A flexible working arrangement with a hybrid in-office schedule may be available.
Continuously review revenue-related procedures to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and resource allocation, proactively recommending new processes and solutions to support the organization's financial goals.
Safeguard all sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information handled within the role.
Serve as a subject matter expert to billing attorneys, senior office and department leadership, and relevant financial committees.
Coordinate with the Global Billing team to implement and administer billing and inventory management best practices, and to support the rollout of new software and financial system upgrades.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Possess deep knowledge of billing systems or have the ability to quickly master such systems.
Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused, customer-service-oriented environment.
Exhibit strong and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals across all levels of the organization.
At least ten (10) years of progressively complex accounting experience, including a minimum of four (4) years within law-firm billing processes and practices.
