Construction Manager - Federal Sector

Description

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations
• Review and approve project submittals, change orders, and payment applications
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control on all aspects of construction work
• Prepare and present reports on project status and performance metrics to stakeholders
• Provide guidance and support to project teams during all phases of construction
• Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address and resolve issues
• Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets

Requirements

• Proven background in Construction Management, including oversight, project coordination, and contractor management responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience on construction projects exceeding $50M in total value.
• Strong understanding of federal contracting regulations, codes, and standards
• Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to facilitate discussions among stakeholders
• Experience with project management software and tools
• Extensive on-site inspection experience, with multiple projects reflecting a direct role as an on-site inspector.
• Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects efficiently and effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or alternatively, twenty years of pertinent experience can be accepted in place of a degree
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, particularly in federal projects
