Delegating and scheduling less complex assignments with junior designers. The goal is to ensure that less complex design items are matched to the designer's skills, while more complex assignments remain with senior design staff.
Coordinate with internal team members and applicable members of the greater Project Delivery Team (architects, landscape architects, traffic consultants, etc) to deliver successful projects.
Provide drafting and design services by preparing and maintaining AutoCAD 3D drawings that compile to create aset of construction drawings ready for agency approval.
Prepare base files, plan exhibits, construction documentation and detailed design drawings for an array of land development and civil engineering projects.
Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of CAD standards across the Civil/Land Development Group.
Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to various municipalities specifications and standards.
Assist with the direct oversight, and staff management of junior designers by providing daily mentoring and quality reviews to ensure timely and accurate submittals.

Have the ability and the vision to take a project from early stages planning to final approved plans.
A minimum of 10 years of experience as a CADD designer (AutoCAD Civil3D) with civil design, and specifically, land development experience.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, fluid working environment.
High attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills.
