Production Support - 2nd shift

Description

The primary function is to assist across the manufacturing facility wherever production needs arise, including assembly of power frames, wet coat and powder coat line tasks, spot welding, and shipping preparation.

• Assist in various production roles to ensure continuous workflow
• Operate overhead hoist
• Load and unload parts on the Wet Coat line
• Assemble painted parts, pack and palletize finished products
• Operate drill press, punch press, or riveting machine for assembly tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per 6S standards
• Track accurate counts and inventory of product at the workstation
• Follow product acceptability and quality requirements
• Conduct quality checks to verify standards and identify defects
• Rework or repair assembled parts according to engineering specifications
• Stage materials and pallets for shipments
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production flow during non‑peak periods
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and apply dimensions to parts
• Collaborate as a team player, maintaining good relationships with internal teams

Requirements

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to lift 1‑50 lb frequently, and adhere to personal protective equipment requirements. Hussey Seating is an equal opportunity employer.

• Perform effectively in high‑stress, fast‑paced manufacturing environments

• Use basic computer skills and learn manufacturing ERP systems (preferred IFS)
• Lift, carry, push, or pull 1‑50 lb frequently
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
